Fundraising throughout the 2007 calendar year followed the traditional format of events with the addition of the Mill Singers concert and introduction of alternative venues. As can be seen from the table below, proceeds from our events have significantly increased over the last 2 years. All of these events were such a success because of the continued commitment and effort of a wonderful team of dedicated volunteers.

The schedule for 2008 has been extended to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the Friends Organisation in Blandford, which of course coincides, with the 60th Anniversary of the NHS. Our events will include a Garden Party in July with the focus being a celebration and PR event rather than a fundraiser. We will also have a concert by the Band of the Royal Corps of Signals in October alongside the traditional events. The Fundraising Working Group continues to explore new fundraising ideas to maximise both the proceeds from our events and the publicity for our organisation.
